I went to Los Cuernos for lunch with a friend. We started with the guacamole. She got the quesadilla and I got the 3 tacos. Everything was very good. The restaurant is beautiful decorated. The service was good too. A nice experience overall.
As a hungry vegetarian who has been coming here since the beginning of time (OK, pre-Pandemic for sure!), I can not stress what a gem of a restaurant it is. Why? Well, the reasons are: 1. Great Service: IZZIE is the BEST and she manages the best team across multiple floors like Jocelyne in the outdoor section and at the newly opened top section: Aaron and Niko the bartender who makes the best drinks! I have seen how this place has blossomed under her management. 2. Cheese enchiladas with green sauce is AWESOME. 3. Location - very close to the path 4. Brunch is the BEST - come here for buffet.
Solid spot right next to Newport mall and the PATH! The key here is to come when they have a happy hour- believe almost daily from 4-7PM. They have great deals on beer and margaritas! The service is prompt and the decor inside is nice (but it is pretty dark inside). I recommend sitting outside especially when the weather is nice! They give you complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa is addicting! I believe it's owned by the same folks who run Taqueria, which explains the quality. Everything is great- the 4 star is only due to the lack of vegetarian entree options. They do have cactus tacos but I'm not a huge fan, so I usually stick to the cheese enchiladas.
Food was pretty decent but what sends it as a four is it's CHIPS AND SALSA. SO GOOD. best chips honestly ever salsa was fireeeee
Service is always amazing. Drinks are delicious , especially the spicy margaritas. The steak and ground beef street tacos are a must.
